Walk This Way

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
— Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

Lost? Confused? Tired? Getting from point A to point B can come with a ton of challenges and conflicting emotions. Everyone wants to succeed. You may have a picture of what your life should be like and the steps to getting to your dreams. You may have been given a map by someone to pursue prosperity and fame. You may even be on the path to greatness right now in your career, your relationship or your education. Regardless of how you got here or what stage you’re in, everyone has those moments where taking the next right step is out of focus or just emotionally overwhelming. The Bible tells us that in all of our ways we should acknowledge the one who created us. He designed our unique purpose and has the best plans for us. If we trust Him with all our heart which means not leaning on our own understanding, He will get us where we need to be for our best outcome. Granted, it may not look like it’s the right direction at times and it may seem like it’s taking longer to arrive than you thought but trusting God is never wrong. His thoughts toward us are good. So start each day by recognizing God’s authority and begin your plans and decisions by acknowledging Him first. Spend time studying His Word. He will show you the way to go.  After all, it is much wiser to get directions from the one that created the map and the destination than it is to rely on your own vision.
